Essex Cricket 2021

45-5, painful. I considered Durham to be one of our easier games. I'd never write us off after the last couple of season though

Pathetic performance
11 home wins in a row before last week's draw. First sign of getting beat and get labelled pathetic.

Sounds like Borthwick played some innings today. Spin doing damage for Essex on day 1 suggests getting 300 2nd innings could be sufficient even if it's an 80-100 run deficit. Easier said than done though.

Previous results mean jack **** now. Are you seriously saying that was an okay performance?

It was awful.

Durham 75 ahead at the moment

Essex with the highest innings of the match but only lead by 119 runs (with 2 wickets remaining)
