Well, he certainly didn't play for the senior team; maybe living of the fact that he played for the B team once?

Remember him quite well, and sadly also recall him playing in the FA Vase for a Norfolk team about 10 years ago at Wembley. Was probably Diss Town*

* Not to be confused with the line from The Specials jaunty little classic "Ghost Town":

"Diss Town
Is coming like a Ghost Town"

He was, at the very least, in the England squad that toured Australia in the early 80's, England coming away with 2 narrow wins and a draw.

He also won the Milk Cup with Norwich in '85, so an international squad member that's won a major trophy in front of 100,000 at Wembley ain't bad going for an unknown.

Although I doubt the court will take it into consideration.

I think you may be confusing him with Mark Barham who actually played a game on that tour.

I am prepared to be corrected.
