Surely it's Atlético Barna? Or at the very least Atletico...

Any how, I wish them well and would love to see them win the title. I think Barcelona will do it, but am cheering on Atleti all the way.

As for Betis, there was a smidgen of hope last night when we were one up against Málaga, as that would have put us five points from safety but it really is game over now. Ah well, viva el Beti manque pierda, as they say down Triana way.

In Spanish it's Atlético (as you say) but ESB was using the common Brit.misspelling of the name, which I lazily didn't challenge.

Sorry about Betis.

Big news about Barcelona getting banned from any activity in the next two transfer windows.

With Valdes and Puyol both leaving, they at the very least would have been looking to spend big on a goalie and a central defender. Good news for Pinto I guess :hilarious:

He can't kick out a ball properly as he demonstrated on Saturday and again on Tuesday.

A very experienced one who's too clued up to fall for your daft tricks.

Btw,I wrote Atlético not Atletico.:smiles:

Not only a great final day but a mouth watering Champions league tie starting tonight.

I would have thought most neutrals would have wanted Athletico to win La Liga, just to break up the monotony of Barca/real Madrid (mostly) always winning.I certainly do.:Worthy:

Funnily enough Athletico are the only one of the three teams that Espanol have managed to beat this season.

Righto.......

I was referring to post 307 above and not your or my earlier posts.:duh:

Eh?

Anyway, some quite shuddering arrogance on display yesterday from Bartomeu, effectively saying in his presser that Barcelona admit to wrong doing but claiming they should be an exception to the rules because of the high quality of their set-up. Attempting to argue themselves to be above the law is a sure fire way of ****ing off FIFA further, so this'll get very interesting very quickly.

Wouldn't suprise me if Barca manage to get the ban drastically reduced but I certainly hope I get it wrong for once.:winking:

Looks like they'll still get Halilovic.

Delighted for Atleti. That was one hell of a display in tribute to Aragonés they did before the game too. Ganar y ganar y ganar y volver a ganar very much the theme for them this season, just hope they win at least one of the trophies they're going for (preferably both)

Barça lining up Borrusia Dortmund's manager Klopp as a replacement for Gerado Martino aka Tata according to today's Pagina 12 (BA paper).

Interesting ,if true.
