Yes, yes I know that it's just like Marmite, some people love it and some hate it, but I just wanted to ask a question about searching for someone.

Is there any other way that you can try and find someone on there apart from looking at their name? There's someone I used to know and I've tried looking properly on there, but seeing that he's got quiet a popular name, i'm having bugger all luck and I can't be arsed looking on all the pages (yes, i'm lazy). I know where he lives, so is there a way you can search using location on there?

there is an advanced filter you can put on a big search which appears in your results you may find....age, area, etc etc
