Quote[/b] (Jai @ Dec. 30 2004,11:26)]Plus a lot of people simply can't afford £16.50 a game, it's a lot of money. There was a bloke behind me in a Chelsea hat (incidentally I don't know why floating fans insist on wearing their 'other' teams merchandise while at the Hall), he had a couple of kids with him and was cheering the lads on from start to finish.

But the fact is that it's cheaper and easier for him to watch his team on Sky and go every now and again. It's a shame really.

Tuesday showed how high our potential support is - had it been Orient in the away end you would have been looking at a sell out IMO.
Absolutely, a sell-out with the crowd announced as 8,950 !!!

Well, I'm happy for the club to take anyone's money to come and watch but it frustrates me a lot sometimes.

It wasn't just last game, as my point earlier may have suggested, it seems to be every game I go to and sit in the West.

Still, no-one I've got annoyed with comes close to the gooner in the pub watching the football yesterday. He spouted complete tripe from start to finish and I swear he must have been going for some kind of record involving using the term "f*cking c**t". You wouldn't believe they'd won just listening to him!
