Won my game by and inns and loads, picking up 19 points in the process. Rather annoyingly though, the 4th placed side are turning over the leaders who have already won the division. We play the leaders next week, so might have to hope that they have an important OD game following our game.

Elsewhere in the Championship, with Muse picking up max points against Dobcross and Angband only getting two batting points, it means Muse is all but mathematically confirmed as champions. As it stands, Angband will have to win this match (not certain), get max points against SS and rely on me getting max points against Muse just to tie the points total. On the basis of the last of those requirements being the most far fetched I think we can say congrats to Muse on being the first ShrimperZone player to bring home one of the big titles.

FFS, ticking along ok and building a lead and then we managed to score just 10 runs from the final 12 overs so we're only 190 clear rather than the 220 it looked like at one stage.
Richie was the main culprit, having hit 32 off 40 balls he proceeded to hit a further 7 in 82 balls before getting out in the final over. I can't afford to leave myself short of overs so I'm going to set them to V Attacking in the morning and declare at 225. Fingers crossed.....

Yeah, happens every so often.
Very attacking tactics has reaped not many runs and a wicket lost already. This is going to be very touch and go today. If we do collapse it's hopefully a sign that the wicket is doing something.
