Had a bit of a shocker yesterday, having them 19-3 and then seeing them end the day on 364-5. Foolishly he batted on this morning, in perfect bowling conditions, and enabled me to bowl him out rather quickly, gaining an extra couple of bowling points in the process. We've made a steady start, and declaration is set at 360.

It's all over, won by an innings and something. Lost out on a day's gate but never mind.

They're 100 ahead with 2 wickets left. Looks like a draw..

My division opponents look like they've forgot to set orders in another league match!

Beat another Bot - was hoping to go into the last day for the cash, but bowled them out cheaply. Great figures from Prutton 10-9-1-6.... wish he had taken it a little easier....

Hmmm they got more than i hoped. They are 679-5 so the bowlers are back on tomorrow morning and then i should have to chase about 250/300! Hmmm, MrB stylee!!

No points for me as expected but in a big shock second placed team are currently getting tonked and 200 behind 5th placed team who are still batting with plenty to come after being 150 behind on 1st innings. If 5th win they go above me making next weeks game against them even more important and the return match after 2020 break. Will be full strength full fitness for me and I should be good enough.

I'd forgotten about the team in second. They have the best squad in the Div but log in once a month and key bowlers PFL is shot to pieces. Doesn't help playing them early but at least the return fixture is late season.

Mine worked out pretty well, only Plums stretching himself with 281 from 226 in our total of 662 all out (plus 101no from our reserve WK). They're 104-5 in reply, will let the reserve bowlers finish things off with some help from King Kev.

End of Over 21 (3 runs). Napster's XI: 101-0, runrate=4.81 (1st Inn: 304-10)
Trail by 105 runs. (Arthritic cricket 510-8 dec)
Sheppard 2-0-8-0
Jefferson* 45 (57 balls)
Prag 50 (71 balls)

Petering out for a draw. Or it would, if I'd done my orders. As it is, I'm declaring in 300, which is 100 ahead of them. Bah!

Easily polished off this morning. Means I'll have nobody under energetic for the big game tomorrow. I could GFI as my cup game on Sunday is pretty easy.

Could somehow win this, need about 6.2 a over

The players are off the field for the change of innings.

End of Over 78 (Maiden). Candymen: 296-10, runrate=3.79 (1st Inn: 471-10)
Lead by 402 runs. (Southend United 365-2 dec)
Stubbs 22-5-82-2
Walter* 0 (4 balls)
77.6 W Stubbs to Mitten
Lofted in the air towards deep mid wicket. Coyne runs in and dives forwards to take a great catch.

57 overs to hold out for the draw, or score 281. The former is more likely, but a loss is liklier still.

Lower Standards CC v BATTY SHRIMPERS

Lower Standards CC won the toss and elected to bat.
Pitch: Flat

End of Over 21 (3 runs). BATTY SHRIMPERS: 70-2, runrate=3.33 (1st Inn: 226-10)
