I do like a good Friday debate. I was out last night with a few of the lads on a boozy one on Brighton and we were debating the above topic.

One of my mates "claimed" to have read a stat that 90% of men have done it. I think that might be a bit high

Another mate revealed that his ex-Mrs who well all know loved it and it started a brief debate.

I personally was a bit of a late developer on this front but after hearing how great it was from the lads I decided to give it a go with my then bird.

Must say its not for me and its highly unlikely I would dabble in that activity again.

At the risk of getting a slapped wrist from the mods I open this debate up to the SZ public.

A couple of mates have tried it and have given it mixed reviews, but the dirtbags in *ahem* "gentleman's educational videos and literature" seem to love it up there, so the temptation is certainly there for me.

Hmm... at the risk of sounding like Germaine Greer / Andrea Dworkin, though... the whole point about porn - especially US porn - is that it's not about sex, and it's all about power.

Said actresses in said videos appear to enjoy it because they're being paid to enjoy it. And what greater statement of "owning" one of said actresses is there than for the stud to say "I can take this young lady up the wrongun' and she's going to like it..."?

It's probably because I'm not exactly Casanova in the bedroom stakes, but I've genuinely never known whether birds really enjoy it up the gary, or whether porn literature tells us they like it because that panders to a masculine sense of power (which is a major reason behind why porn is successful).

It's a funny old thing, that's for sure.

There is a school of thought that suggests that a penchant for tailgunning is a sign of repressed homosexuality. Well, that's just bobbins.

Crashing in through the back doors is, more often than not, a desire to exercise mastery over a woman. It's the final taboo, the last bastion of purity and to take it subconsciously seals your position.

Sadly, there are many drawbacks to this, the most awkward of sexual positions. The muscles in that particular region are geared and primed to expel, so the welcome mat is certainly not down for you.

My first encounter with the practice was a long, drawn-out affair. Progress was made, but more as the result of a war of attrition. It was like trying to squeeze a sausage into a desktop pencil sharpener and I spent much of the aftermath wondering if I'd caused either of us any permanent damage.
