Cambridge away on boxing day!! Well happy with that one

Good festive period, although no game New Years Day?!

Thought that a bit odd myself.
But just checked a few past seasons and in 2005, 2008 & 2011 there were no New Years Day games either.

I think the club would have bee happier with 2 festive home games. Mind you Northampton away could be off if one or both of us are in the FA Cup 3rd round.

Someone is having a joke! After a three year absence I finally manage to organise a week in Southend in the last week of August (and it has to be that week for family reasons) and we are away to Carlisle (which is normally my nearest game) and then away to ****ing Plymouth!:'(

I think the fixtures in August and September look pretty tough. Not going to be an easy start.

Just seen the league table on the BBC we are 20th!!! Can I be the first to say Brown out????

2005 & 2008 we had FA Cup games on the 3rd so league fixtures will have got moved. 2011 we played New Years Eve.

According to the club on twitter we're not playing on New Year's Day as 'it was judged to be too close to the Saturday when it'll be FA Cup third round day'.

Away at my brothers wedding on the 9th August so glad it's away at Accers. Boxing day at Cambridge is a good shout.

And, of course, thanks to TV, 3rd round Cup day runs from 2nd January to 5th January.

Most potential weather troubled games are not long distances so that's a bonus, did I see both Newport games on a Tuesday? That's a bit odd isn't it?

I remember playing Blackpool on the 2nd Jan one year. Was that the 2005 game? I jsut remember the cold north fog

Luton our last home game which is disapointing as I would expect them to fill the away end but if they're not in contention with the autos or playoffs it might be a fraction of that amount. I would have prefered them first at home or another club with a big folowing. Generally I think the way the fixtures have fallen for us sucks!

As it is my nearest away game, first one I looked for was our game at Luton. And it is the same weekend as a trip I have booked to Dublin. **** my luck.
