By my reckoning, irrespective of tomorrow (although Wimbledon much closer), that's 6 Northern teams and 1 Southern team gone to be replaced by 6 Southern teams and 1 Northern team. A lot less miles, if you can call Northampton southern and if it is Plymouth they are as far away as Fleetwood! Regardless it is going to be a more Southern league next season.
Good news then.............PLUS
We need a decent, fair, set of fixtures this year.
Hopefully either 1st or last game to be at home AND a Boxing Day derby at Roots Hall; as opposed to all these 3 key fixtures being away as they were last season.
If we are to be away, 1st or last, please let it not be to some Northern far flung out post of football mediocrity.

Fulham aren't in our league (yet).

Quite "proud" (not quite sure that is the right adverb) that one of the best games of the season was our 2-0 away win at Barnsley.

Yep, MK Dons v. AFC Wimbledon just has to be the first game of the season!

Great day for real genuine fans who stick with their club. Hopefully they can take six points of the club who were part of the biggest Football League scandal ever known.

Yes great exciting div to be in next season ( says he trying to convince himself) ...if only col u could have stayed up everything would be perfect.

'True' (Wimble)Dons v 'False' (MK)Dons x2 next season will be interesting:unsure:

It will. It's a shame though that the media and a lot of football fans have got the impression that AFC Wimbledon fans will be 'up for this game' more than any other though. That is not the case. Wimbledon fans do not particularly want to play the Franchise. They feel coming up against them in a league fixture legitimises them as a club. I daresay Wimbledon fans will be looking forward to Millwall/Charlton far more.

Will be looking to go to the AFC Wimbledon, Charlton, Northampton, MK Dongs and Bristol R games at least hopefully.

'The Beast' yesterday was top drawer.

Arguing about taking the penalty and then a superb post-match interview!:thumbsup:

57,965 attendance is pretty impressive. Over 34,000 tickets sold by Argyle, so AFCW mustered about the same number as us last year. I noticed that, along with Blackpool and Cheltenham, we hold the record for most play-off promotions (2) drom League Two. That shared honour could be under threat, if Cheltenham continue their good form next season.
