Post-Match Thread and Ratings Forest Green 2-2 Southend United..We win on Penalites 4-2

50k people using the Bakerloo line on a Sunday service schedule is not good.
Wembley Central has a bit of queuing system but doesn't have the capacity. This is a serious safety issue.
Wembley Stadium to Marylebone won't be much better with a Sunday service.

Just been on the Wembley site and for the other play off final they all say tickets are only avaliable for purchase from your club. Maybe that will be the case for us.
Just waiting for a comms from the club.

Hopefully comms from the trust about coaches too

Another indescribable emotional rollercoaster last night, making it two in the space of a week. There’s a reason why this is the special club that won’t die and doesn’t know when it’s beaten! Over the moon doesn’t do it justice. Beyond gutted to be missing out on the final as it’s clashed with a holiday to Greece that was booked long before the playoff dates were announced, but still plan to watch on via the box or tablet whilst sunning it up by the Med. One final push to get our Football League place back!

Just thinking back to our FA Trophy loss to Sittingbourne and posting (with others) when will we get the chance to experience that huge unbridled joy that the Sitters and their fans enjoyed in the North Stand that day.
Well, Blues, thanks to you I've now experienced it three times in three weeks. This isn't the month of "May"....... it's the month of "HAVE DONE"!!
COYB!!!

We went 1st

Walker - Low leftish, saved as it had no power.
Cardwell - Low right, sent keeper wrong way.
Bridge - High left, keeper went right way but no chance.
Knowles - Hit the bar, leathered it very hard. - So hard that it rebounded back to the halfway line :Hilarious:
Gubbins - Bottom corner right, keeper went right way but no chance. Brave lad & utter quality strike.
McCann - Hight left, Hayes got a touch but too much power.
Bonne - Lowish left, thundered it onto the inside of the post. The look on his face as he realised it had ricocheted across the goal but over the lne was classic. He was bricking it.
Sercombe - Tried to hit the top of the stand & did. - Luckily the stand got in the way, otherwise it would be in orbit now
GSM - Low right, keeper went wrong way. Cool as anything.

I've always thought you put you best natural strikers of a ball on penalties irrespective of where they play. Gubbins depsite his other flaws is a really good passer & hits it cleanly. Walker to me, although a striker, isn't a natural at getting a great contact.

apologies if posted before but what was the running order of the penalties please?!? I think we went first and one of theirs blazed over rather than a Hayes save
Walker miss
FGR (Cardwell) scores
Bridge scores
FGR hit bar
Gubbins scores
FGR scores
Bonne scores
FGR over the bar
GSM scores
