What so your calling me racist?

Hamilton could be black, white, Asian, chinese, japenese, german, french, spanish whatever. Race and ethnic minority has nothing to do with it. I just don't like the bloke. He is a good driver I don't doubt that he has talent. But he is not the best I am afraid. Stick Button in his car and I think he would come out of his skin. Stick Hamilton in Button's car and it would be 'Lewis who???'.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinon and obviously alot of people on here like Lewis Hamilton but jesus pull your head from out of his arse. He is good but stick him in Jenson Button's car and still say he is as great as everyone makes out he is.

ricey you really are a plumb arent you! my response was in response to the point of why when lewis drives aggessivly hes dangerous and when anyone else does it, its great driving. And its common knowledge that ferarri own the FIA why else would they still be getting $100m a year from Marlboro when tobacco sponsorship is banned?

Ok then. Fine it was just the way you worded it ok apologie accepted ;)

Out of interest, how would you feel about someone if they disliked you just because of something somebody they didn't even know had said about you?

I wouldn't give a ****! If people don't like me then its their problem, and I would hope Hamilton takes the same view.

I think you misread my post, i said how would you feel about someone, not how would you feel. I didn't mean would you care, just what would you think of the person.

I think the point I'm trying to make is, you're entitled to your opinion, so why have that of the paper you read? I'm not saying lewis is a decent bloke, I'm just saying that unless you've personal experience of him, or someone you know and trust has, then to vehemently dislike him so seems a tad harsh. it's a bit like Alonso. he comes across as a spoilt brat in the British press. That's not to say he's not, but without knowing him personally it'd be unfair to say

I am big time Biast here but I think the English press make Alonso out to be a villan. He was harshly treated whilst at Mclaren and anyone who says he wasn't is clueless and knows absolutely nothing! He came into the team as the 2 times WORLD F1 CHAMPION and was getting treated like the 2nd driver to a rookie. Not on at all and it messed up his confidence and his season, I think he had the right to act like a spoilt brat wouldn't you?

In regards to what he did in the pits that time with qualifying, whether it was on purpose or not, it was a bit out of order. But look at Alonso now he is not Hamilton's team mate when they were on the podium together he congratulated Hamilton. I think also when Hamilton went into the back of Alonso and Martin Brundle and Mark Blundell started talking crap about he did it on purpose was a JOKE! Why would Alonso damage his own car to get back at Hamilton? Plus Renault presented the telemetry to Mclaren and it showed he didn't do anything wrong.

In regards to my opinon of Hamilton, to be honest its nothing to do what is said in the papers. Cause anything about him in the paper I don't even bother reading. I have watched him in interviews and he is so arrogant and up himself and that is the reason I don't like the bloke. I understand he has talent and is British but I don't have to like people because they are British. I can't stand Andy Murray (I know he is Scottish). Murray is an arrogant arsehole and I can't stand him.

At the end of the day I have my opinons of Hamilton and I just don't like him. If he kept his gob shut and his Dad stopped poking his nose in I would probably like him.

Now that makes a lot more sense. The only one thing I'd say though is don't mistake arrogance for confidence. There's a very fine line between the two (I regularly cross between them, unfortunately, and I'm fully aware of that) The British psyche is about playing the game, and being jolly decent about it. Anybody that's successful and confident is automatically regarded as "not the right sort"

A great example, boxing. How popular was Bruno in his time in boxing, and compare that to Lewis. Now, which was the better boxer?

Murray, I feel, is a different kettle of fish (and this is purely opinion). he comes across as very sullen and brattish sometimes on tv, however, stick a mike and camera in my face and i'd probably go red, mumble something stupid or incoherent, and shuffle off ASAP. I think (again could be wrong) that his main problem is he's not fully at ease with the cameras. Time will tell, if that is his problem he'll get better, if not he'll get worse.

I think its good we have sports stars like Andy Murray and Lewis Hamilton. Yes, they're a bit cocky and arrogant but....they're winners!

I'd rather have a cocky Hamilton/Murray than a damp squib Tim Henman/Jenson Button.

In regards to Alonsos treatment at McClaren, I think he was expecting that Hamilton was just going to be dead weight as a team mate but instead was pushing him to the limit right from day 1. I dare say Alonso would have spat his dummy out again this year if Piquet had been any kop this year - luckily he hasn't.

I did laugh at what my mate said to me a few weeks ago though. I asked where he expected Alonso to drive if he wanted to be Champion again. He retorted " Alonso can drive wherever the hell he wants.....including into the back of Hamilton for the next couple of races :-P "
