Cheltenham??? CHELTENHAM??? That would hurt if he signed for a club like that, and for a promotion rival to pick up someone like Eastwood wouldn't be good news for us....... :stunned:
 
They certainly wouldn't have been paying the bulk of Eastwood's wages so the fact that a Club like that are even touted as a possibility suggests that Coventry have accepted that they're not going to be able to get rid of most the drain on their wagebill that he must be.
 
Not sure that now's the right time to bring Mr Eastwood to Southend but there's no denying that he has the talent to score goals and if anyone can get the best out of a player then that is a certain Mr P Sturrock.

Bloody hell, if they were in the running, then surely he'd be a shout for coming back home to the Hall?!

The club don't want him, they think he is to lazy and he would disrupt the other players to much. That could obviously change in the future I guess.
