Would love to know why the game against Bury this Friday Night isnt being televised by Sky?
Thanks

I'd love a Southend game on TV out here! Been working in Perth since Oct and despite the great weather and watching the ashes with the barmy army, I am really missing watching my beloved shrimpers!

Cos we (Bury) are on Sky next Friday night - Shrewsbury at home

Games are picked by Sky and moved from Saturday to Friday to televise Generally they have some interest for the footie viewer like promotion, or 7th v 6th nest Friday.

why on earth would anyone want to watch us at the moment?
my ticket is free every week (courtesy of paying last summer for my seaso) and I would rather be elsewhere

that was until we resigned Sawyer.. I feel like a new man

Because they'd get more viewers with celebrity blindfolded drunken darts.

Funny you should say that. An old mate of mine is a celeb in Oz for his cricket radio show. He is blind but he knows the game through the commentary and his 'mental mapping' of the positions, but ... not only but also ... he is a celeb around our way 'cause he plays a mean game of 'Killer' (darts). He certainly impressed the good folks of the Scillies when he did his stuff out there. Disability is only an impediment of the attitude.
