Getting music from iPhone to iTunes

So, I've got a new iPhone, but my laptop that had my music on when I set up the last is long gone. As a result, I need to get the music from my phone into iTunes.

Can anyone recommend a application to do this?

If the music isn't from the iTunes store you may be in trouble, Apple makes it very hard to transfer music to a new device unless you purchased it from them directly or you still have the original source. iExplorer seems to be a program that's capable of bypassing these restrictions but the free version only lets you do 10 songs at a time, so if you have a large library it might not be a viable option, the paid version is pretty pricey though ($40).

On this note, what's the easiest way to do a one-off transfer of photos from an iphone to a PC?

If you're on Windows 7 when you plug the iPhone in to the PC and a pop up should come up, click import photos and it'll do it automatically. If you're on 8 or 10 I think you need to plug it in, go to My Computer and then right click the iPhone and choose import.
