Lose tonight and then Saturday and I reckon Ron is going to be very very twitchy....

Nah. He won't be, as he gets another two bites of the apple to qualify from the group (after all, this is our toughest side on paper, he would be hoping to pick up points at Div 2 Col Ewe and the Reading kids).

Mind you, if he doesn't get any points at Rochdale, a tough away game at Charlton (in front of a big away crowd)... the Tuesday night game V Shrewsbury and then against the current bottom side Northampton. I reckon he's bum might be twitching a tad.

As usual. we seem to be dominating the game, but can't finish for Toffee.

I doubt it, Ron stuck with Brown when most of us had given up last season and despite the doom and gloom on here we haven't had that bad a start. Yes our defence needs improvement but aside from Rotherham we haven't looked lost in any of the games and we've been making chances, even if it would be nice to see more of them converted. Plus no one cares about this cup, we could lose 10-0 and most people wouldn't be fussed.

Despite what the doom-mongers may have said at the time and how loudly they said it, I don't think we even got close to "most people giving up on the manager."
