Good evening folks!

also, remember as well as your sky or virgin or whatever, you need to sort out a TV licence ;)

Also your insurances (please dont say you took the ones they offered you with the mortgage)

Having moved 4 times in 3 years I've got it down to a bit of a knack...

I actually find it's best to live with stuff in boxes for a week or two (obviously get out the essentials) and get your head around where you want everything properly. It's much easier to move a box full of stuff than it is to move a whole bookcase or wardrobe with stuff on it. Take your time to get it right and then it'll save having to rearrange stuff.

Also if you have to buy bits and pieces, then it's generally best to buy good quality stuff. Wilkies/IKEA are good for certain stuff, but generally they break very quickly... so expect to have 'disposable' sets of stuff in the kitchen.

Oh yeah and as Kay says, give it a proper deep clean. We picked up keys 5 days before we moved into our current place, it means you can give everything a real clean and completely air the place out.

Make sure you put a fence up around your garden. There is nothing worse that bloody posties walking over your grass as a shortcut
