Just the sight of the bloke puts a smile on my face. Reminds me of that great day on the pitch celebrating winning the title with Tilly, the players and fans all singing together.

Yep, you've just summed up perfectly my thoughts on Shaun too. I remember sobbing like a kid when he received a standing ovation from all four sides of Roots Hall during his final substitution. It was one of the most moving moments I've ever witnessed as a Southend fan.
 
Good to see Scriv communicating with the Royal Gazette. Still seems a weird seeing Shaun their with the squad but not actually a squad member, considering he only played for one season. Just proves what an impact the man had.
