that for a send of for the Goat. When he was subbed, every single person in that ground was on there feet applauding him. I saw him wiping the tears away as he ran out before kick off. When Roots Hall stood to acknowledge him, it brought a tear to my eye, it was quite emotional. What a legend
 
What kind of player gets a standing ovation from 3 sets of fans and hugs from both sets of players?

You've got to be pleased for him. To end his career with an ovation like that (not to mention the whole Bermuda Bonanza Day) and then get to celebrate as a champion must have been amazing.

I doubt I'll get more than a handshake and a card when I retire!!
 
It was one of the most emotional moments of the season.
What a legend.
