Massive disappointment here in Spain. About 20 gathered in our local ~ a dozen or so "honorary Shrimpers" ~ and cheered until we were hoarse for the entire game. But, although Wrexham were there for the taking, it was not to be our day once again. In fact, it was all pretty dull until the final hour or so.

BUT ...

I think we proved that IF we get promoted, we will be able to "hold our own" in League One, even if Wrexham are one of those struggling at the moment. At times we looked good and those non-Shrimpers in the bar were quite complimentary.

Now we can concentrate on the League. Forget about this Cardiff crap and get on with the real job in hand. Chin up everyone ... the good times are set to continue ...

No. That all this b******s that West Ham are our bitter rivals is indeed that ... b******s!

In any case, there were plenty of English cheering for Wrexham as well; they were the northern section champions of the ENGLISH Football League Trophy after all. More xenophobic b******s methinks ...
