Complete guess but going for a beach theme...

- home kit is the sea, featuring the waves
- away kit, light blue, for the sky
- third kit, yellow, for the sand
If this were the case, then keeping true to the sea at Southend, shouldn't the shirt be a similar colour to our famous grey LDV final shirt?

And just so people don’t get upset....

It is accompanied by black shorts and socks with the sky blue trim on the famous Hummel chevrons situated on the side of the shorts and the ‘SUFC’ stitching on the socks.
