As soon as I saw them displaying the brand spanking new League 2 trophy this morning, I knew that was about as close as any Southend fans would get to it this season (well done boys for showing us up with the naff rendition of "Is This The Way to League Promotion?" too).

The fact that Swansea have to win by 3 clear goals if we win too, makes it 1% better but I can't help but feel that it's the "p/o" phrase for us where if we don't manage to screw up the semis another heartbreaking Millennium Stadium defeat (think the past 2 but multiply by a 100 as it ACTUALLY means something this time) awaits us.

all this luck crap has nothing to do with it, we simply didn't generate enough chances today, we had enough of the ball but not enough shots, it had absolutley notihng to do with the league 2 trophy being on display, if we deserve to go pu (liek we do), then i reckon we will, . well done to the boys this morning for being on the show! dont matter about the song, its all a laugh.

I don't think the laugh was aimed at the result but the song.
I am also fed up of all the luck rubbish and not saying we will win and all that, superstition is a load of old c**p and the boys make their own luck or bad luck. Lets just hope that we win on saturday.
