We, as fans of a lower league club, often complain (well, moan) about the way the lower leagues are pretty much shafted by the television stations. Yes, the BBC has a deal to show X amount of Championship games and their lower league highlights show is most certainly better than that piece of ***** that ITV churned out, but that's not the focus of this discussion.

Hypothetically speaking, if we found ourselves, in say ten or twenty years time, as a established Premier League team, usually finishing somewhere between 10th and 15th on a regular basis, would we "forget" our lower league roots? Would we gloss over this debacle with Ron and the finances? Would we completely forget Vic Jobson's treatment of the club?

I'd like to think not, but the question's there to be answered.
