I was hoping to get away for a few day prior to & over New Year with the other half. I told my boss this over a month ago & on Tuesday, via a colleague (equal standing) I was told I had to do a couple of hours work on NYE or get a written warning!!! My immediate manager said he was not doing it due to his "rank!"

I hope their balls drop off, the bunch of womens front bottoms!

Santa. People who have jobs should get their heads down and wok hard and be grateful. We only gave rises of between 250 and 500quid this year. Most people were happy top still have a job in January.

Had a powercut today. Had to hang around for two and a half hours. Told 10 more minutes then we can finally leave... And then the ****ing power comes back on. Wonderful.

Nope!! Maybe I should given him the publicity he deserved! How many people employ an unqualified Health & Safety person who then sets himself on fire?! My employer will never admit he is wrong, even when he is!
