A record lowest score on my ground, in front of a record attendance of 24,165 :p

A miraculous collapse saw my lot bowled out again, this time for 276 in the final over.

Defeat looks more likely from here:

End of Over 20: 112-1, runrate=5.60, reqrunrate=5.50 (276-10)
Lever 10-0-50-1
Farmer* 47 (56 balls)
Anderson 6 (7 balls)

End of Over 24: 111-0, runrate=4.63, reqrunrate=5.73 (259-7)
Raven 7-0-30-0
Tomlinson* 53 (80 balls)
Bradley 52 (66 balls)

WTF happened with Jackman there. 0-26 off 5. Shocking.

Pleasing total, particularly happy with an explosive 88 from YP Cunningham and 78no from 61 balls is certainly an improvement for Curtis. Will have to work round the fact that No. 5 is clearly his 'slot'.

Another 5fer from Sutherland in reply, 4 of whom were clean bowled. 53 all out on H&F pitch from a team who've put up good resistance to the other decent teams in my league. Times are changing......

My games hanging in the balance at the moment. Just about have the edge, but all my consistent batsmen are out. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed I don't lose another wicket in the next few overs, otherwise I could experience a customary collapse. I'm hoping that the run rate should increase as it usually does in the last ten overs giving me a comfortable victory.

End of Over 41: 194-3, runrate=4.73, reqrunrate=4.22 (231-8)
Gigaba 6-0-30-1
Wilkinson* 13 (20 balls)
Hurdle 36 (56 balls)

Last Wicket: Worrall b. Murdoch 117 (FOW: 172/3)

Just out of interest has anyone else been experiencing the little bug today. When a player is bowled it is displaying the number of balls he has faced instead of the number of runs.

:(
43.5 W Brazier to Hurdle
Hurdle comes forward to a shorter ball just outside off stump, straightens off the seam and finds the probing outside edge, straight through to Theobald.

I just hope my Superb/Superb and Competent/Superb can hold on now. After them my tail end is pretty poor.

Worrying over nothing. A win with four overs to spare :)

Would have been annoying to lose to the team in 7th place

And that's the end of the match. Southend won by 45 runs.
Southend 276-10
Peruvian Farmers 231-10

Good win as it looked like they'd nick it until half hour ago.

Yeah, Dave kept banging on about it earlier but we all ignored him as usual :flamer:

i bowled them all out for 26, therefore winning by 381 runs.

adds a healthy 7.62+ to the NRR!! :finger:

P.s - Mr B Is a To553r

10 wickets for 100 runs for my lot saw me bowl them AO for 224 and it takes me into 2nd place, just 1 win behind the top team who im yet to play. Raven finally produced and Jackman came back well with 4-49. Some good fielding and ran out there dangerman who has a 6 figure BTR rating!

IEIEIEO ...

Win takes us up to third. Top two are unbeaten but they play each other in the final game of the first half, I then play them in the following two games. We're in good form so I'm hopeful I can turn them both over, my attack are going to trouble most top orders at the moment:

Bowling O M R W Ave SR Econ Best 5wi
Sutherland - 73 15 215 33 6.52 13.27 2.95 6-12 5
Horrigan - 56 7 199 17 11.71 19.76 3.55 5-61 1
Sajjad - 52 5 159 10 15.90 31.20 3.06 3-8 0
Mushtaq - 64 9 273 15 18.20 25.60 4.27 6-53 1

I won't mention Botham, he's there for his batting :D

Got to say, credit to YB. To be so dominant in Level II is pretty damn impressive. Makes me more confident as you seem to be turning them over more convincingly than you did with my mob!
