I've always liked Matt Smith as a presenter.Matt Smith presenting, who used the do the first goals programme on ITV many years ago....
Let’s not get carried away, a truly great start, still got 43 games to go and we’ve only defeated one of the sides that almost certainly would have been relegated last season. Also whilst they played the ball around well throughout last season suffered a number heavy defeats consistently.
I agree a good win, all wins are good at any level. I also have concerns at such a slender margin against probably the worse side in this league last season. This is based on having seen every team in this league last season, albeit on stream, only Weymouth come close in my opinion, they also conceded 98 goals.Good win however I'm worried that it was such a slender margin against a side that I am told are dreadful at this level, as their results last season showed. Murphy's second half shot was shocking and he needs to buck his ideas up.
Great to be travelling watching the Blues again
For some balance is it not true that they basically furloughed their entire first team and played kids to fulfil fixtures? I suspect they will hope to be lower mid table (all be it they are more likely to be in a relegation scarp than a playoff push)I agree a good win, all wins are good at any level. This game was only an introduction to the league and Stockport will be a totally different experience.
It was only a slender margin as a combination of leaving our shooting boots at home and the KL keeper playing a blinder kept the scoreline down.Good win however I'm worried that it was such a slender margin against a side that I am told are dreadful at this level, as their results last season showed. It’s true about staff were being furloughed but that didn’t happen until March and it wasn’t all their key players and there were a few loan players that came in. They also suffered big defeats throughout the season. For some balance is it not true that they basically furloughed their entire first team and played kids to fulfil fixtures? Agree Stockport will be a good benchmark.
