Despite his age, I still think Chris Powell could do a decent job in league 1. He is also a "goater-like" figure who could be a hugely positive influence in the dressing room.

My thoughts exactly. I always thought it wasn't just about the extra few quid Wolves wanted. I reckon the lad just wanted to go home to Jockland & was always going to hold out for that. probably why he didn't go to Swindon as well.
