Bromley (National League, level 5)
Michael Klass
1st match - on bench, came on for 4 minutes - finished 0-0
2nd match - on bench, came on for 12 minutes at 3-1. Finished 3-1.
3rd, 4th and 5th matches - on bench. Unused sub.

Harlow (Isthmian - South Central, level 8 - this is the same level as Canvey or Great Wakering)
Miles Mitchell-Nelson, Terrell Egbri and Matt Rush
1st match all three started in a 4-3 win over FC Romania (MM LCD; TE LW; MR S)
Rush was subbed with 5 minutes to go and Egbri booked on 61 mins.

What a waste of time that loan has been for Klass, luckily it’s only a short one.

He's been there a fortnight!
Either way we'll learn a lot from this loan - how he reacts to adversity, his attitude in training etc that will go a long way to determining if he has a career in football or not. If he knuckles down and forces his way into the team (Bromley have won 3, drawn 2 so are going very well) then it bodes well for his career. If he doesn't, then at least we know.

They signed Josh Rees, another central midfielder and a local boy, from Gillingham a few days after and he seems to have gone ahead of Klass in the pecking order.

Conference
Klass got 13 minutes in Bromley's win over Boreham.

National League South
Rob Howard played in Dartford's win over Braintree - former Shrimper Norman Wabo came off the bench to score the winner for the Darts

Miles Mitchell-Nelson, Terrell Egbri and Matt Rush, despite appearing for the u23s Friday, played in Harlow's 1-1 FA Cup qualifier against another former Southend youth forward Jason Williams' Brentwood. Williams scored for Brentwood. Presumably we don't mind them cuptied for the FA Cup! Rush was subbed after 85 mins, Egbri cautioned after 16 mins.

Delighted for Wabo....I genuine talent and really nice fella who I gather was very popular with his team mates

I’d love him to come full circle

I wouldn’t be surprised to see him back in the League in two years but I suspect he needed this step back to do it.

Look at Pigott. He needed it as well and has thrived since. Goodship may be another.

Sometimes these kids aren’t mentally ready to make it at 20/21 and need a year or two of success at a lower level and maybe a wake up call to bounce back or a move away from home/comfort zone to grow up.

Your right but for some the year or two of reality does them far more good.

Michael Klass starting today for Bromley against Maidenhead away

At Harlow Terrell Egbri made his third start in four days(!!!) and if he was tired it didn't show as he won a thriller with a 91st minute winner with a goal that sounded like it was a worldie. Mitchell-Nelson started at the heart of defence for Harlow. Earlier Matt Rush had come on and made it 3-3 before Egbri won it at the death.

"And it was Terrell Egbri, who had been extremely unlucky not to score or assist today, who had a go in the 91st minute. But no one had expected him to hit it so well, his 30 yard effort dipping and swerving accurately, before sending the McCullochs Arena into ecstasy."

Hopefully someone has a video of it.

In the Conference South Rob Howard started in Dartford's 2-2 draw with Hungerford. (Wabo was only on the bench again despite his winner Saturday).

Terrell Egbri scored a penalty for Harlow. Mitchell-Nelson also started and was subbed off, but no Matt Rush.

Klass was an unused sub for Bromley.

Howard started for Dartford and looks like he played the whole match.

Klass came on 82 min against the Daggers did ok.Cant help in thinking he not learning much in warming Bromley's bench.Although he best away from Roots Hall at present

Midweek action saw Harlow Town knocked out of the FA Cup by Brentwood in their replay. Miles Mitchell-Nelson started but Harlow had a nightmare start when their captain was sent off after 5minutes for handball on the line. Former Shrimper Jason Williams scored the spotkick. They added a second soon after and although Harlow pulled one back in injury time after Matt Rush's introduction as sub on 65 minutes for Harlow (and the cuptied BLues youngsters) the FA Cup dream is over for another year.

No Terrell Egbri - is he back at Roots Hall? He seems to have done well for them. They aren't in action this weekend.

Elsewhere Rob Howard got another start midweek for Dartford in Conference South. He played in their 3-2 loss at Tonbridge Angels. He's on the bench today for their match against Dorking Wanderers alongside former Shrimper Norman Wabo.

As @Maldon Shrimper noted Klass got a late sub appearance for Bromley in the Conference. He's on the bench again today.

Finally, completing the non-league round up, Theo is on the bench today despite scoring midweek.

Michael Klass came on for the last 20 minutes in the match mentioned above against. Bromley were 1-0 up when he came on and conceded and took the lead again all within his first three minutes on the pitch.

He was an unused sub in their 1-1 draw the next week at Eastleigh but came off the bench the following week against Notts County along with former Shrimper Shawn McGoalshy. McGoalshy scored the winner. Klass was an unused sub again on Tuesday whilst Bromley won 1-0. Bromley are 4 points clear at the top of the Conference with Klass making one start and 6 sub appearances for them. His loan appears to have been extended as it was initially only for a month.

In the Conference South Rob Howard was on the bench for Dartford's 4-3 loss at home to Dorking but restored to the starting line-up for their 2-0 win at Concord. He didn't feature in their FA Cup win - did we not want him cup-tied? - and his loan was due to expire Tuesday.

There have been three Isthmanian South Central matches for Harlow since my last update. The first saw Miles Mitchell-Nelson man of the match in a 1-1 draw with Tooting and Mitcham. Terrell Egbri started on the left-wing.
The next match was a midweek 4-1 defeat at Ware. Those two started again, as did Matt Rush who scored their lone goal from the edge of the area. The third match was a 2-1 victory over Hertford Town. Matt Rush dropped down to the bench for this but came onto score a last minute winner. Earlier Egbri, Harlow's player of the month for August, had equalised from a tight angle.

Completing the non-league round-up, after three sub appearances for Col Ewe whilst he got his fitness up, Theo Robinson has started their last 2 matches, notching a double against the club he was on loan at last year, Swindon.

Michael Klass was an unused sub in Conference table-toppers Bromley's 3-1 defeat at Huish Park, but the big story there was the Yeovil ball-boy sent off for time wasting. More of this sort of thing please.

In the Conference South Rob Howard was back in action for Dartford in their 3-2 home defeat to Slough Town. His loan appears to have been extended.

Harlow played Hanwell Town twice in 4 days in the FA Trophy. All three loanees appeared for their 1-1 draw at home, but with Terrell Egbri making his Southend debut in the Checkatrade Cup and Miles Mitchell-Nelson and Matt Rush playing for Southend u23s in their Central League Cup the same day, the Shrimperless Hawks crashed to a 4-1 defeat and out of the Trophy.

Finally, completing the non-league round-up, Theo Robinson scored for Col Ewe at Macclesfield.
