Remember that when his Dad Frank was here Steve Phillips was running the Junior Blues at the time , and had a couple of training afternoons at Roots Hall with some current players Danny O'Shea and Shane Westley as well as others . I wonder weather young Frank ever attended any of these .

Fantastic player, but a useless Premiership manager. Didn't help himself at Chelsea when falling out with some of his players, and wouldn't talk to them. He had Petr Cech serve as a go between, to communicate back and forth. Absolutely ridiculous to allow that sort of thing when your being paid millions by a top Premiership club.
 
It must be a real mixture of emotions for Frank--Out of a job/being out of a club that is in a damn mess.........But at least he leaves with a lovely payout.

I just googled it and he's already worth £75Million. Mostly thanks to what he earned at Chelsea as a player. So that payout won't make any difference once you have that sort of money. It also said he was once the highest paid footballer in the U.K.
 
Frank...Great player........Dead loss as a manager..........I wonder what Mr Lampard will do next?
 
Wigan sack Kolo Toure after 59 days also heard they haven’t paid some of there staff lately and are under an embargo lucky escape Kolo.
