It was very chilling how Manson mistakenly took some words out of the Beatles 'White album' as a sign of the start of an apocalyptic war, especially the 'Helter Skelter' song. Thus the killings began, and some of the words were even carved on the bodies of their completely innocent victims, these words meant no sense at all to the detectives at the time.
