Evening everyone,

I do a blog talking to the players but about music as well as on-field stuff. Things I cover in each interview include favourite artists/bands, first record bought, teammates' music tastes etc. I also add in questions like the 5-a-side team they'd choose made up of their best ever teammates. The aim of it all is to offer something different and to show another side of the player.

I've done close to 100 in just over a year with some big names like Giovanni van Bronckhorst, Juan Pablo Angel, Ashley Williams, and a couple of different ones in Fenners and Tubes from Sky Sports and Soccer AM.

My latest is with Mark Phillips and we talked about a few things, his DJing, music he loves, Sturrock's music taste, and some other stuff.

Tell me what you reckon to this and some of the other interviews on there too if you get chance to look at them.

Get in touch on Twitter too http://twitter.com/chris_brookes, it would be great to interact with some of you. I'm a Wednesday fan so I've got a vested interest with the Sturrock connection (and to a lesser extent Coughlan, Gilbert, Corr, that list is in order of how well they did for us!).

I hope you like the idea behind the blog and as I say there's so many on there so hopefully you find some of them interesting. If you like it please help me out with building numbers for the Facebook page where you can see all the future ones I do: http://facebook.com/beatsandrhymesfcblog

All the best to you for the season, I was rooting for you in the play-offs out of the 4 teams and hopefully you'll go one better this time. I'll be tracking how you do, there's a Southend fan who I talk to and hopefully a few more of you will get in touch.
