BUT ..... if the Stewards only allow those with Current Parking Permits then surely that will help matters BUT NO!!! anybody who wants to park in the carpark is allowed in whether they have a permit or not (& Cash of course
No, you're not really getting it, are you? People were LYING. They would say they were dropping off, person would get out of car, the car would go through the first gate (which is where most went) then, instead of driving out the bottom gate, they would simply park and meet up with whoever they'd dropped. There were not enough stewards to ensure people supposedly "dropping off" would then leave.

As I said, it was also the poor parking that was making things difficult.

If any were taking cash to allow people to park then that is another matter entirely.

May be if they stopped taking cash too, that would help. Yes I have regularly seen them being slipped money. I have been trying for a couple of seasons to get a permit with no success so seeing this happening if extremely annoying.
If you see people paying cash again you should report it to someone the main steward is usually around he’s short guy with that on his hi vi

We have a permit for the car park at a cost of £125 for the season. Have had it for the past few seasons as have walking difficulties. We were very annoyed to see that people are being allowed in showing last season’s permits and not the new ones that are very different and have 23/24 on them and a permit number. If people have paid like us they would have been handed a new permit in the ticket office at the time of paying.

Thanks all for participating in the Poll and adding some really useful comments. This has been passed onto the club (edited) and will be used for review. A valuable insight into some issues, which will help shape the future. Thanks again, much appreciated. UTB 👍
