You may have seen in the news that Benfica's Hungarian International, Miklos Feher (24) collapsed and died last night after being booked in Benfica's match (bit extreme, normally ref's get a few F words and the match carries on)...

Anyway, I was having a weekend wind-down last night (about 10pm) playing Pro Evolution Soccer 3 on PS2. I am currently managing Lazio and after a bad season I needed to make some summer signings. In came Hernan Crespo and Miklos Feher (as he always scores against me) for a lot of money.... an hour later, I look at teletext and find out my new signing is no more...

What do I do? Leave him in the side and play on in his honour (to be honest, he was cr*p on his debut) or respectfully retire him from the game and write the cash off?

Oh and a word of warning to Hernan Crespo... you could be next!

How about, this player died, RIP, sad loss. Not oh and he's mucked up my sh*tty football game that nobody really gives a sh*t about.

Like the man said, show abit of respect

I thought it was funny. Perhaps I'm just sick, it's these sort of dilemas that could mean the difference between doing the triple and double on ISS Pro 3!

That has to be one of the most surreal posts ever - are you actually worried about whether or not to play someone on your computer game because of events in real life?

I agree with WB and US, show some respect!

I don't really give a cr*p

when you little boys get yourself a woman you'll forget all about computer games and staying in your room for hours on end with the curtains shut

Holy sh*t - that really backfired!

No I'm not 'actually worried' - the post was a) an attempt at Black humour, that only McScriven seemed to 'get' and b) just a strange coincedence - of all the unfamous players I could of brought, an hour later he tragically dies...

And Leeboy, though you may think games are for 'little boys' I'm actually 27 and enjoy playing them to relax - rather than say smoking or doing drugs. You have to pull the curtains if the sun shines on the screen

I know it was only black humour, My post wasn't serious either. But your original post did show a lack of respect for the poor sod!
Now if it had of been Crespo that would've been a different matter! I can't stand poncey Argies with girly hair.

Didn't have a laugh, no, but I had a similar moral dilemma as Foe was the midfield lynchpin of my Championship Manager side....

No-ones saying it isn't tragic what happened though.
