Southend United will be without goalkeeper Steve Mildenhall for tomorrow's match against Hereford United.
Mildenhall limped off at half-time against Brighton and Hove Albion with a knee injury on Tuesday evening.
And although the problem is not severe it is likely to keep Blues number one out for at least a week.
That means that Ian Joyce will start only his second match in the Football League having also replaced Mildenhall on Tuesday evening.
Meanwhile, midfielder Alan McCormack has shrugged off a groin problem and is available for the match against the relegation threatened Bulls.
Strikers Dougie Freedman (thigh) and James Walker (hamstring)

Shame, Mildy has been getting a good run of games and has even been immune to criticism form the Wigster in the last few matches. Nothing against Joyce but lets hope he gets back soon.

We've suddenly got a solid back four so hopefully he won't have much to do, and when he does I'm sure he'll rise to the challenge.

Good luck to Joyce, I thought he played well on Tuesday when he came on.

Hopefully he wont have a great deal to do.

Yup, good luck to the lad. Waited patiently, hopefully he'll do us proud. No keepy ups at the back though, Ian.

Let's be honest, he couldn't have a better game to come intp. Hereford are the worst team in the division, IMO, and not being at Roots Hall will probably help. Plus having a Premier League quality centre-half in front of him won't hurt either.
