I noticed him when he picked players up for fairly innocuous tackles on the odd occasion but as these were never so innocuous to annoy anyone, it gave him perfect control of the game. Thought he may have awarded them a penalty but I'm unlikely to complain about that.

am i hearing right. there was good ref at the hall. the one game i miss in god knows how long and theirs a decent ref.

a good sign of a decent ref is if he goes un-noticed rather than making himself centre stage.

Can't understand for a minute why Singh didn't join in with your witty repartée...Perhaps you might like to call Wayne Gray "Jabo" when you come down later in the season. Actually, you might as well call him Efe Sodje, as they all look the same, eh?

And as for having nothing to smile about....well, being above you for the entire season so far is pretty funny. :)

Another excellent performance from Mr Singh. He makes a refreshig change from the usual incompetents we see at the Hall. Whilst I think that refereeeing is incredibly hard and everyone thinks they can spot the right decision when the referee cannot, I am still concerned that the standard is so low and variable. I remeber Rob Styles at the Hall not so long ago and he was shocking in my opinion.

Singh is a very good ref.. Uriah Rennie is the best I have seen at the Hall in recent years though...
