Music question for music nuts

this is a tough question... it's inevitable that someone will google it in the end, but anyways...

Who was the only guest on the John Peel show to do a session and get asked by the great man himself for an encore?

Green to whoever gets it:)

Captain Beefheart?
Mark E Smith?
Damon Albarn?
Jack White?
Val Donnican?
PJ Harvey?
Jarvis Cocker?
Status Quo?

here is the article that i read from the artists label, that i found this little nugget from:

A session had been talked about for a while (like, why do we not have one yet?) and eventually the call came through in the summer of 2003 that {removed}. would play alongside {removed} on the Peel Show that December, to coincide with the UK tour at the time. It was only when talking to various BBC staff after the event that this was no chance slot - john had already made up his mind that {removed} would do a show. His gratitude was more than evident when, after an absolutely superb live performance, John asked for encore - which has rarely, if not ever, happened before.
