I think wires are getting crossed here. I was told today by a very good source that we're on the verge of signing none other than Ade Akinbiyi. My source was adamant that it was all but a done deal with Akinbiyi is keen to head back down south from Sheff Utd having been told by Warnock that he won't be featuring much next season. A "nominal" five figure fee is involved.....

Anyone else heard anything on this???

Well Blackburn have signed Jeffers and Roberts in the last 24 hours, so you would of thought Boothroyd will be surplus to requirements...

I thought it was Charlton who released him though? He did have a spell at Blackburn previously....

If true, and on a free, that would be a superb signing IMO.
