Hi, signed up for Hattrick a few days ago now, wondering how long ill have to wait 'till ill get a team.

While im here, may aswell ask some other questions.

How does this work, ive played Sundayleague before, is it the same as that except no money is involved and games are played every Sunday (league) and some week's Tuesday (cup)?

Yep, league games Sunday, cup/friendly games Tuesday (or Wednesday depending on the country the friendly is played).

You normally get a team in about 3 or 4 days. There's an excellent newbie guide at Hottrick which is worth checking out. Don't expect instant success, this one is a slow burner....

Yes - do the complete opposite of what I did.

DO ABSOLUTELY NOTHING with your team until you've spent a few hours reading all the FAQ's and tips. The worst thing you can do as a new team is blow your money and not understand where it's all gone.

haha, ive read some of it, got to page 5 of 20 something and got a bit bored, sounds like good fun though, i might read some more tomorow or later on.
