I've just seen that Fleetwood have signed Steven Gillespie from Col Ewe. They also got Jon Parkin on a free from Cardiff the other day so are starting to consider them a real threat this year. Obviously with Rotherham also throwing money around like it's going out of fashion you'd expect them to be up there too.

Who else do you think might challenge this year based on squads so far?

I'd expect Oxford, Gills, Cheltenham, Torquay and us to be 'there or thereabouts' again.

The yo yo club Wycombe will likely be up there as well as will fellow relegated Chesterfield.

I also see Bristol Rovers being a force.

Going to be another tough division to get out of!

There's always a dark horse or a late comer, take a look at Crewe.

Got a feeling Plymouth may spring a few surprises this year.

Chesterfield seem to be throwing a fair bit of money around along with Rotherham and Fleetwood. Torquay are losing their keeper and O'Kane their star midfielder so they might struggle to match last seasons position. Expect Oxford, Bradford and Bristol rovers to be up there.

My top seven are (in alphabetical order) ............

Bradford, Chesterfield, Gillingham, Oxford, Rotherham, Southend and Wycombe.

My candidates for the bottom third include ......

Barnet, York, Accrington, Dagenham & Morecombe ........... and maybe even Fleetwood. :omg:

A couple of my mates are Wycombe fans and they have real financial issues at the moment. I'd be surprised if they were up there this year. Expect them to have a similar season to us in Luggy's first season.

Can see Bristol Rovers, Rotherham, Rochdale and Southend being up there.

Think Chesterfield, Wycombe, and Exeter will all be around mid-table-ish.

Think AFC Wimbledon and Barnet will struggle, but York will be bottom IMO.

Well that would make a nice change to see them spend more than one season in a division

You've got to think that Bradford will be finally up there this season. I fancied Northampton and Bristol Rovers last season and both were rubbish but with new managers and a decent core of players I think both will do much better this season.

Top Seven in no particular order - Southend, Plymouth, Rotherham, Bristol Rovers, Fleetwood, Bradford City & Chesterfield.

Why do people predict Bradford every season? This will be their 5th consecutive season in League Two and they've finished mid-table in every one. Last season they were struggling against relegation for some of it. They ain't all that. Plus they have that **** Parkinson in charge.

Rotherham will be strong favourites next season with the signings they've made. I was impressed by Cheltenham in the play-offs and with a few decent additions, they could challenge again. Chesterfield should be up there, they have the infrastructure and have signed Marc Richards. Don't really know much about the other relegated sides. Northampton went on a good run of form after being thrashed by us and they've made a couple of decent signings already so they might be a team to watch out for.

I've not paid too much attention to the transfer marker in recent weeks but last time I looked it seemed like Bradford were putting a nice little team together.

At some point they surely have to have a good season, just by the law of averages if nothing else. They're massively underperforming for their size and their budget.
