Norwich sack Roeder... Tilly target?

Be a big risk for them to take that chance as they are deep in the *****.

I imagine that they will go for someone a bit older, never say never though...

I could see this happening. Sooner, rather than later Tilson will want to test himself at a bigger club. Norwich are a premier league set up with money, stadium and the fan base. I feel that if we dont achieve at least the playoffs tilly might well go in the summer anyway. Not sure how much Martin can hold him back if the opportunity arises.

Why should be worried? As pboreham and others have argued, Tilson can't take us forward and isn't the right man for the job. Why would Norwich be interested in Tilson when they could attract all those better managers that are dying to come to Roots Hall like Martin Allen, Ian Holloway, Glenn Roeder etc, managers who'd show some passion by standing on the touchline and ranting and by providing media quotes, managers who'd be more tactically astute and able to make that killer triple change against the European Cup finalists.

Bit harsh chap! Not necessarily saying he is a bad manager at all, just he's gone stale.

But lets not dredge that up on a day like today :)

Why would a person in a pretty safe and secure job leave to take over a club that sacks the manager every 12 months or so?

I can understand Roeder taking it in the first place as he was out of work at the time, but Tilly, no, not while he's with us.

Exactly what I was thinking - the manager's office at Carrow Road has a revolving door.
The other way of looking at it is that if Tilly goes to Norwich he'll be free to come back to us in 12 months time.
