Or get across to Canons Park, one stop up, 5 mins in the car. Car park was empty when we got there an hour ago. One pound fifty to park.

the full sign was up when we got there at 10 am so we parked 50 yds away in the street for free - no permit holder restrictions on sunday

Well that was foolish- we arrived at 10:15 ,ignored the 'full' sign and drove into a barely half full car park!

Yep, we did the same at about 11.30. Was probably still about 50-100 spaces left.

I don't think I've ever seen the notice at Stanmore say anything other than "full". Either way, there is plenty of street parking around the station that is free, and that is where we parked...
