OD - Match 1

Good old Perry

34.2 6 Glennon to Perry
Oh heck, it's coming this way. Six runs and into the commentary box, coffee and cake everywhere.
34.1 . Glennon to Perry
Back of a length and some nice shape away from the batsman. Perry purposefully plays inside the line as it climbs through to Tyke.

End of Over 34: 109-4, runrate=3.21, reqrunrate=1.50 (132-10)

Still on course for the win.

Our last 10 was very poor runs-wise, and being a bowler light could cost us the game from a dominant position. They were 42-3 after 10 overs.

Lakhani MOM for his 4-35 - a bit expensive and personally I'd have Westcarr's 72 no as best performance.

Happy enough with those ratings - 78 of the 132 runs conceded came from 2 bowlers. A tougher test next week I just edge the bowling but his batting today was exquisite/remarkable. Still with two bots in the division it's really a question for me of whether I finish in 4th or 5th place this season.

Such a bad start to the season to lose as they chase it down with 4 balls remaining. Deane dropped a catch early on and that would have had them 2 down before they'd have made 15, so who knows how crucial that was! They did have a pheonomial/elite bowling ratings so pretty sure they GFI'ed, whereas alas i didn't in the end! What a ****nt. 7 at invig and 1 at energetic. Its going to take it out of all players this season, thats for sure!

Thumping win to start the season, Wanless and Sini hitting an unbeaten 281 partnership then we bowled them out for 211. I was on a GFI, probably didn't need it but wasn't sure.
