As I get older I'm getting more and more earache from Mrs RHB that I don't moisturise my skin enough/at all. She reckons I'll end up shrivelled like a prune (she is cruel at times). So on her behalf I am asking you Zone people whether you use moisturiser just so as I can prove my point that I do enough, or so I will have to apologise unreservedly (oh yeah, like I'm going to do that!).

So do you?

I get quite dry hands, so do so when they get bad.

I used to keep a tube on my desk at work until my Scottish colleagues sabotaged it, putting little stickers with the word 'gay' all over it.

I'm down with the gays - but even still he's got a point. :hilarious:

I have occasional dry skin on my hands and the missus is always on at me to moisturise.

I won't though because quite clearly what would happen is that over time I'd build up a dependency on it to keep supple, and then a tolerance to the moisturiser eventually rending it useless and my skin incapable of keeping itself suitably moist. Once this happens I would have no option but to bathe daily in the stuff for a period of several hours to achieve the original moisturising effect, which seems a bit inconvenient.

And that's just science fact.

I am an outdoor manual worker; so my feet get hot & dry in boots or very sweaty, and need daily care; especially if it has been very wet. My hands suffer a lot and so I use hand cream. I try to wear a hat in harsh sun light but the wind can be just as drying so some moisturizer for that too when needed.
IMO it is as basic a care as washing, teeth cleaning etc.

But you could become the Cleopatra of the Essex Riviera...

Have always put Nivea cream on my face after shaving. If I don't, my skin feels dry & tight. That's probably why I look 10 years younger than I am !!!!!!!!!!!!.
