Our chance was the one we had at 2-1. He did everything bar score. For 80 minutes we were second best. After that at 2-1 up I thought we'd hold it. Wasn't to be. A couple of players short of their A game today. Disappointed but not disillusioned. Just to be here this season was beyond my wildest dreams 2 months back.

This is not the time for turning on each other or the team. We’re all hurting, disappointed, and wondering what could have been.

We’ve all been through the mill over the last few years, and throughout the hard times we as fans have been united, none more so at the start of this season.

We should all remember those dark times, and remember that those moments showed all of us what we’re all about. The tifo summed it up perfectly.

Let’s lick our wounds, enjoy the summer, come together for pre-season and allow the management, squad, and COSU a bit of time off to relax, and plan for next season knowing we have a club for next season and beyond…..

I took this especially for RHB because I know he likes my hat.

Great support today but we did go a bit quiet when their third goal went in. Built it up again towards the end but poor old Gus was shattered by then and couldn't pass to save his life.

I suppose we should have tried to park the bus after going 2-1 up, something that our defence used to be quite good at. But I'm pleased that we pushed on seeking a third, and we almost got it too. Has Kev changed his mindset I wonder?

Anyway, that's done and dusted. We go again next season and will be in much better shape after a full pre-season and with some new players.
