Anybody care to comment on what his Dame Edna/glasses type celebration is all about?

About 4 of them doing it infront of the City fans tonight after the 3rd went in.

Smiffy, I noticed that Hicham Abdellah the striker with glasses from Football's Next Star was sitting at the front of the stand just to the right of us. I also saw him before the game in a Southend tracksuit. Does anyone know if he has been training with the squad? If this is the case then it could be dedicated to him?

Yeah he has been involved with the youth team for quite a while now mate.

Spencer started doing it last season, Is it something linked with the Screech look? Now they all do it. I think its quite funny actually!

They weren't doing it in front of the Bristol fans so much as in front of Scriv for the photos.

It did seem to be the players surviving from last season: Spencer, Paterson and Grant.

I think it's to do with Scott Spencer looking like Screech, I remember he did it last season.

Screech didn't wear glasses though. It was in a programme from last season about being geeks, I'll try and dig it out tonight.
