Peter Clark Song!?

Pubey

Guest
just had a flash of inspiration (well was chatting to someone i used to play hockey with and we used to sing this song to him cos he was sh*te)...

anyway...

how about singing,

We all dream of a team of Peter Clarkes
A team of Peter Clarkes
A team of Peter Clarkes

We all dream of a team of Peter Clarkes
A team of Peter Clarkes
A team of Peter Clarkes

And number 1... He's Peter Clarke
And number 2... he's Peter Clarke
And number 3... He's Peter Clarke
And number 4... he's Peter Clarke

etc etc etc

I suppose Peter Clarke could be swapped for someone else with a monosyllabic surname?!

I was singing this to myself last night, but using Nick Bailey.

The only trouble with it is that it's so blatantly stolen from other clubs, although I guess all football chants are. Spurs sing this about Robbie Keane. I think Man United do about someone too.

yeah i thought cant bailey too but he already has a song. i was looking to make a new one for a player who doesn't already have one.

Peter Clarke has that "He's here, he's there, he's every f**kin where' one, though.

Most of our first team have a song for them, even if they aren't generally very original. Gower, Mulgrew, Francis and Walker don't.

Hardly original though. Scousers've been yelling that about Jamie Carrager for years.

I never claimed it was original. in fact i think i said how i thought of it after singing it about someone else, and even posted a video of liverpool fans singing it about carragher!
