The Trust had already posted what they intended to do on the "Rant" thread, then this petition popped up. To me it just seemed the "polite" thing to do. Maybe I'm old fashioned like that.

Whilst in the car yesterday I happened to come across BBC Essex and they had the Producer of the Saturday show talking about the new format. He basically said it cost upwards of a four figure fee at some away games last season and was a very expensive programme to run as it was. He also said that the new show fits into the BBCs guidelines that they want for this year...

I would imagine that Championship club's require a higher fee to allow commentary to be transmitted. This will not be an issue/excuse for either club this season.

The fee paid by BBC Essex to SUFC to broadcast all the Away Games for a season is less than 5 figures. Obviously that does not include travelling costs, wages etc for the commentary team, however they are already going to be at all away games this season as they provide the commentary for Blues World.

This decision just does not make sense !!!!
