Piotr Malarczyk has been signed until the end of the season, which is now only 6 games away. I read in the match day programme that he wanted to see what we were about before he agreed to play for us but what is the point in signing someone that has to see us play before he decides if he wants to play any games for us.

If he does want to play for us, why haven't we thrown him into the fray by now? If he was signed to try and help us get into the play offs he needs to be playing.

If we have no chance of the play offs, which I don't think we do, send him back to Ipswich and blood in the youngsters at the back, we have nothing to lose really

Or if he is available as a potential signing as a decent centre back . lets please have a look at him?

It's been an odd signing. The 2 games since he's been available (wasn't signed in time to play at Rochdale) we've played with 3 centre backs and I can't for the life of me think why Ben Coker has been one of them when there's a centre back on the bench. Very strange.

Even John White has more experience as a centre back than Coker

If Brown's going to keep this formation going then surely play Malarczyk in the middle for his height which we lack and Thompson on the right and Barrett on the left so then Coker can play left wing back as he likes to get forward and Worrall right wing back.Would also like to see Payne pushed forward of Barnett with Leonard in the hole ahead of Deegan and Atkinson

He's under contract at Ipswich until 2017 so think he was just signed as back-up after Bolger left, although as Barrett's definitely going to be here next season there's no reason not to give him a few games.

Isnt he about Number 4 in the pecking order at Ipswich , which gives us the chance to pick him up if any good? that is if we could actually see him play in the league, now our play off spot has gone and we only have 2 recognised centre backs
