Planning Updates- All The Latest Details. 28/03/2022

Summary
1. Fossetts passed 15-0
2. Roots Hall being discussed now and this needs approval with Fossetts for things to progress
3. Not sure but at least Fossetts needs to go to the Secretary of State for consideration. May be both.
4. The trading ground application with Rochford Council is still ‘ under consideration.

I’m not sure on the timelines of the 3 and 4 decisions but if these are approved construction should start next year.
Why on earth did they cut it off for the vote?

Any idea how long this would normally take?

I think Ron said on the last zoom meeting that this would take place before Christmas, with a decision made public in December, meaning if all was passed the training ground would start in Q1, probably March 2022.

But don't forget we were going to play Wigan in a friendly last time round and he is in court tomorrow....................................

So providing both get agreed, is that it?

Is this the final hurdle?
No, still has to be referred to the Secretary of State for final approval (Due to the size of the development).

But as in 2008 the Secretary of States planning inspector approved that planning application after a 6 month public enquiry, it is felt unlightly they would ask to have another one.

I believe the Secretary of State has until the 30th November 2021 to decide.

The councillor ask would the houses be double glazed.
Come on, what is he doing on this planning committee,
It's like trying to sell new cars without seat belts, let alone sir bags.

“...& do these dwellings come with interior latrines & electrickery..”?
?Christ, is he for real?

Ths councillors keep asking questions on the scheme, they have 4 books of planning notes that blondy keeps referring to.
Do they actually read the books of notes, are just make up random questions 1 hour before leaving home over a cup of tea, prior to the meeting.
