As has been said should be 3 if not 4 up given the current comparison between NL and L2. If that failure leads to York finishing second on the points they got and not getting a ‘deserved’ promotion then this should embarrass the EFL- but it won’t.

Yes more EFL clubs will get relegated but it will also be easier to get back. A lot of the dysfunction comes from the EFL money. If the NL was L3 and the money differential closed I suspect the opposition to change would be less.

I'm sure you are right. Will be hard on the York team to go again next season, I would imagine they will need some new players to keep the enthusiasm.
